Are camber correction kits needed if I install Swift lowering springs?

I've got new springs on the way and I know I'll need an alignment after install, but might save a second trip if I need camber kits.

I did a bit of a search but didn't come up with too much info.

I havent lowered mine yet, but I plan too. I ordered these last friday and they should be here tomorrow. This kit is supposed to correct all of the bump steer and camber issues when you lower these cars. Kinda pricy but it seems like a superior product over the Megan Racing control arms. Plus Mike seems to be very knowledgeable

Swift springs give a very Minimal drop IMO you won't need any camber kits. Matter fact the F should come a tad lower.

These cars are so low stock I'm surprised they even offer lowering springs.

That is the exact reason why im doing it to mine. about to buy new tires and i want them to last

Yeah I hear you, but it's toe that really chews out tires, not really camber.

I just can't find too much info on camber settings (if they stay under 2deg or not) after spring install. From what I gather, camber wear occurs at above 2.5deg or so from what I've been told.

I can get those superpro bushings locally if needed for the front, but don't think I have to go that serious on the rear!

thanks, this is what I'm hearing from the lowered guys here in Aus.

I've read that the front was actually raised from the pre-production version. I didn't really want to drop a full inch at the front, but can't go past the swift springs for quality. We will just have to wait and see how they go!

I just ordered some Swift springs and H&R 15mm spacers for my 08 IS-F....can't wait to get them on from the pics I have seen. Just going to have an alignment done after the install so the camber isn't off.

Yeah, that's what made me finally do it! The IS-F's look so beasty lowered a bit with the wheels out flush!

I ordered the H&R DRS 15mm spacers yesterday, just going to have to wait and see what my alignment guy says about the settings if I need the camber kits or not.

I think you will be fine without a camber kit since you are not really lowing the car hardly at all. In past cars anything around an inch ends up being fine and a tiny bit of camber never hurt nobody...

Ok guys, my springs turned up today! Got no instructions though. Just need to know if I have to cut bump stops and if I do, how much?
