Default IS350 rear bench in ISF?

Would it work? Does it fit?

Looking at sedans again considering the ISF again.... Only concern right now is putting the infant seat back there, I feel like it would be best if it were located in the middle.

So, can you swap the rear bench seats on the IS's?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit.

I'm 100% percent sure the bottom and top parts of the seat will fit. Though if you're planning on using the seat belt as well for the infant seat then you may have to also change over the parcel tray to accommodate for the seat belt not 100% sure about that one.

The seat itself fits perfect and all clips line up perfect. I purchased the lower portion from a 250/350 for my car so the kids seats don't damage the F seat. The lower tethers for an infant seat will hold the seat in tight but I don't know how safe it is because there is no where to secure the top tether.

Did you buy new from dealer or find one used or junk yard. I'm interested in doing this also. My kid rarely rides in my F but the baby seat is always in it and would much prefer a middle setup too.

Hmmm...

So can you just change the lower portion, leave the upper portion? Doesn't sound very difficult. I guess you would lose the fancy F emblems on the seats.

I found it on the big auction site and only replaced the bottom/bench portion. No fitment issues with just replacing the bench and keeping the upper/back portion.

You lose the fancy F emblem and the blue perforation but save your seat.

The lower part of the seat literally pops out, just grab and pull. It takes less than 30 seconds.

lower part of the seat will fit
though you wont have any seat belts or mount points for your baby seat
but all u have to do is
remove your parcel tray
and then fit the neccesary parts on it
and the rear parcel tray is different if you have ML or not ML

I dont see how a backward facing seat will fit in the middle in the ISF when it barely fit in my HUGE LS460. It may be because I am 6'5" but I still assume most of us move our seats back all the way.

I don't think a rear facing seat would fit in the middle either but I'm thinking it would fit once its forward facing. If I can find one for a couple hundred bucks its worth a try for me. We ll see and I let you guys know how it turns out if I can get my hands on a cheap lower seat.

I had my daughters rear facing seat mounted in the middle because there was actually more room versus behind the passenger seat. However, I am only 5'5" LOL!

Any pics? I'm considering doing the same to our ISFamily mobile.

I have the rear-facing child seat in the passenger rear. Fits surprisingly well, although my wife (who rides in the front passenger seat) is short. haha

I put one of these under the seat to protect it:

Hi sorry to raise such an old thread but we are looking to buy a ISF but not if it has 4 seats! Does anybody have a picture of the rear bench where they have fitted a IS250/350 bench to it?

Thanks!
