I got 7.7 at wild horse pass but that included the 46 miles to the track so I think its got to be in the 4-5 mpg range too

Looks like a great time. Nice videos. As for a Lexus track day, if we could organize one I'd be there. Maybe something central in USA would be good or whatever works for the majority.

Fun isn't it?
I hope you remembered to take out supplemental insurance because most policies won't cover you on the track.

I'l agree you can feel the weight of the car, but the balance and performance are great on the track

I took the family to the Skip Barber School at Limerock a couple of years ago for their high performance driving school. That was where I got to try the IS-F and in the end bought one. Actually I now have 3 cars they used in the program: '90 Miata (my kid just bought a '97), '10 IS-F, '13 Boxster.

About a year later I got a call and they were offering a track day. I think the cost was somewhere around $2500 to track your car. My response was simple, for $2500 I'd rather trash your car. Just the cost of replacving 4 tires on my car $1000, didn't thrill me. Never mind brakes.

This was a lead and follow not open track, with the lead car dropping back on the straight to allow others to move up

great video. When I get on my F I am frequently surprised at how fast this thing is when it gets moving. Above 3rd gear she pulls like a train.

LOL I had to take a last gen caddy CTSV to F school this morning. I think he thought his exhaust was going to scare me.

Xpediency- That's awesome! Let me know next time you go! I'm not that far out (Oklahoma City), I'd love to drive that track!

Anyone in the Oklahoma/Texas/Kansas/Missouri area- Come out to Hallett on the 25-26th of this month! It's cheap! $250 for one day, $340 for two days! Here's a link to their website for more info and a clip of my F out there last weekend.

You're going to spend a lot of time with your foot mashed to the floor if it isn't heavily boosted.
