Headers Question
Just a quick question about headers.
Can any corner garage install headers for me? Someone I trust said he would love to do it, but I just don't know if he should be the one installing them since he is not a trained licensed mechanic for Lexus. Should they be trained for Lexus or it doesn't really matter, as long as they are a very good mechanic. And would that mean I should take the headers to Lexus and have them installed if I cant take them to a corner shop that I like.
Basically, I am asking this since not many shops know a whole heck of a lot about our engine where I live....
What should I do...

Go to ur Lexus dealer and talk to the service manager and tell him u want to have them put the headers on ur car. See what he says, my guy is awesome and it's earning business for the dealer. Several of us have had our headers installed there and not a single issue with any CEL popping up. Free loaner car is a nice touch also.

ISF headers are a bit harder than normal...to put it lightly.
For the Op: Any decent shop should be able to do it...it might take them a very very long time though. If you can find a shop that has done ISF headers before, then go with them.

Ok, so now the next big question...
Sikky or PPE?
I have ISS Forged DES Exhaust and Takeda intake so far. Anyone else with this exact setup and which headers did you go with?

Research the threads on both, there is really good info on them. Both have great customer service so no issues there at all. For me it was PPE once I read that a Lexus dealer installer said they fit just like a factory part and quality of materials was A+.

No headers. I won't run without cats. I have my14 month old in the car a lot and I can't afford to compromise his health for a few hp.
