That being said why even make this comparison?
Murph, your car is now on eBay certified Lexus at 49k!!!

Because they are both sport luxury sedans with similar attributes (besides weight)

com·pare
kəmˈpe(ə)r
verb
1. estimate, measure, or note the similarity or dissimilarity between.

In this case, the OP noted differences between the Genesis and the ISF. I for one had no idea that the Genesis vs ISF was night and day. It's nice to see people compare cars they have driven/traded to see how the ISF stacks up.

The Genesis sedan is and never was a "sport sedan" . Not even the R spec. It is a full size luxury sedan that offers value for the money. Back in 09, I bought the first year model 4.6 Genesis and loved it for what it is, luxury value. Sold it in 15 months with 33k miles because I wanted something smaller and more nimble.

I will admit that I see a white one almost everyday on the way home from work and I am always starring at it because it looks so damn good.

No sh¡t right!? Nothing against Prius putting ppl, but these peeps drive like maniacs! Then they wonder why their "low rolling resistant" 5k lb Prius burns through tires regardless the UTQG rating. ...and the Genesis well...no comment just a gesticulation =

I just bought my 2012 ISF from a Hyundai dealership and the guy that traded in my ISF traded it for a Genesis 5.0 R Spec because he was an older business man and wanted a larger car. The sales manager knows this guy personally and said that he regrets trading it in lol.
