I never thought I would own a Japanese car, after a long and frustrating search for a sports Sedan this last month (Test drove Quattroporte, E63, M3, and M5) I ran into a used IS-F when I stopped to look at an M3 sedan... The reliability reviews, cheap 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, and the great freeway MPG is what really stood out.. Of course the performance is brilliant as well...

But big reason I'm here is, I have no idea where to find some of those newer headlights that come with that LED strip... I REALLY want them on my car, also what Headers and Exhaust would you guys recommend?

i have SIKKY headers and a ISS Forged QES Exhaust, youtube vids or do a search on the forum and you'll find LOADS of stuff to help you decide.

actually try this link, the previous one was for the 2011 which didn't show the headlamp unit. this link is for the 2012 and shows the headlamp unit. item # 81135 and 81175.

Just a FYI so you know as i had to learn, i have a 2008 as well and was searching for the newer LED lights as well but found out i would end up losing the AFS that our headlights have, so i decided to stay as I am lol

I'll post pics tomorrow! Stock - silver, with gun metal wheels.. And I'm willing to sacrafice AFS... I'm a fiend for LED's.. Know where I can order a set to fit the 08 model? And its very unfortunate that noone has came up with a set to give us best of both worlds.

Well i figured the LEDs are just to make it look like most other vehicles coming out these days.. and besides, the LEDs are for others to see, the AFS is for me loll

Try ebay, is.sewellparts.com, or on the forums here a set will come up for sale quite often.

Welcome to CL and congrats on the F! If you're looking at the newer LED headlights, no matter which ones you get, check to make sure the housing doesn't have any bubbling. It's been well documented on the forums about it. Some aren't too bothered with it, while others are.

eBay might have a few right now, and I know once in awhile, a set pops up here on the classifieds.

Just keep on looking and hopefully you'll find what you're looking for.

What about fitment? Only headlights with that LED strip are the 2011+, Would that models lights fit my 2008?

no they will fit all years of ISF...2008+, they are also interchangeable with the regular IS250 and IS350. its the same headlight.
