Picked her up guys! She's beautiful, so beastly and masculine looking in black.
I noticed while driving on the freeway people stare at it a lot, I guess it's because nothing else looks like it on the road.
I got the dreaded belt slip sound during high rpm shifts 1-3rd so I'll be calling the dealership to schedule a replacement belt and tensioner first thing come Monday.
So far I am ecstatic about it!

Thanks guys.
My first order of business is to switch out the Tires for some Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Next up would be an exhaust, but then again I kinda enjoy how beautiful it sounds stock!
The finance manager gave me an evil eye and thought it was blasphemy when I told him I was going to "mod it" a little.
He said I should keep it completely stock and original since it's such a special car... lol. He said there was less than 100 sold for model 2012, I don't know if he's BSing or not.

ha i get where finance manager is coming from, i'd say why not just enjoy it as is for a bit? get that excitement of all the newness, because i know that estatic feeling you are referring to! then when it slows for you, then look into getting an exhaust at that time. to me, its about the best overall single mod you can do that not like some crazy risk or devaluing the car in anyway, exhaust swaps are much harder to **** up than say putting headers up in there, or starting to mess with suspension. i think the tires is a awesome start man, i would love you have any 2011+ MY, one day though, ha.
too, pretty sure he's a bit of an embellisher on the 100, but he's just works for lexus, not necessarily an is-f 'enthuuuuuusiast' as we are, haha. but point taken, its not a common car thats fosho
enjoy it man, it really does look great in black
I'm glad you went with the is-f over your other choices. i think once you learn it after driving it a bit, you will really come to appreciate the transmission, i've never used any awesome dct or pdk transmission for long enough myself to really compare it too, but to me. it seems like the perfectly fitting transmission for the is-f
