didnt know the tax was so much there. If you bought a car out of state youd still have to pay tax right?

Black isn't my first choice in color either, it's just so damn hard to find a newer low mileage one around here.

My first color choice would be USB with the light grey (white?) color seats.

2nd would be white and 3rd place is black.
If you're as excited as I was when I bought mine, then I don't think you should pass (especially since finding one in USB w/ the interior u want will be pretty difficult).

And my F and I reside in Moorpark, so I'm local

I say wait for the exact color u want to pop up or check out of state options. I rushed and bought my first F in my 2nd choice of color and was pissed I didn't wait till I found my 1st choice of color.

I just paid 51 (before tax/fees/etc) for a 2013 w/20k. It was everything I wanted, though (and was CPO). I also didn't have the patience to wait any longer. haha

Our taxes are equally painful.

That's a decent deal, but not an awesome deal. Given that it is 3rd on your list of colors, maybe you should wait to get your first or second choic. Black is tough to keep up with (it was my first choice in color though, so challenge accepted). I talked to my dealership and found the exact car I wanted in another state, negotiated a good price, then paid them $500 to bring it to me.

O.M.G. Now why did you have to go and post that?!

Thats like my dream combo right there, 2012+ style wheels, color and interior.

Argh...it's on the other side of the country too... What to do.what to do...

Picking her up on Saturday.

It's a Lexus certified 2012 Black on Black/Suede interior, 30k miles on the odo. Getting her for $48,300 + fees. Good deal?
In April I saw a white 2012 with only 16k miles for $48900 here in Houston at CARMAX. That car was the reason i bought my 2008 and i love it. If it doesnt suit your color preference etc then maybe you should spend a bit of time to keep looking.. even if it means finding one from out of town.

Correct, when you register the car in CA you will have to pay the sales tax on it. Or else we'd all be buying cars from Portland.

Keep looking, the right one will pop up. I wanted white on white and could have bought one in my area that was a different color combo but higher miles and less $$. Needless to say I waited for the right one and it came along.

I flew 1300 miles to get mine and believe you-me the drive home was nothing short of stellar.

Keep the IS-F you purchased.

Black is great color and will age gracefully. It is certified pre owned as well. You paid more for that...but its all worth it.

Man thats way too much. I paid 43 I believe for my 10 over 2 years ago with 20k miles on it.

Buy this one for 43. Ship it down to you for a 1,000. Job done.

I agree with all the post....unless your dealer is willing to go lower on the price don't settle for it. Keep searching the key word here is "determination" your first choice USB is out there maybe not in the vicinity but if u really want it distance shouldn't be an issue. My USB was in Wiscounsin when I found it after a month, I was also getting close to settle on a black one but I didn't pull the trigger since it wasn't my first choice. Best of luck
