Went to go buy an IS-F this weekend....disappointed in the transmission.

my upshifts are waaay faster in my F than compared to my IS350, and firm also, just love this transmission!

back in 2012 i test drove a RS4, C63, M3 and the ISF....guess which one i bought. LOVE MY F!!!! the tranny is the thing that sold me, the upshifts are sooooo fast!!

You guys are correct about the car not fully warmed up!

I went for a retest drive and let the car get up to proper temps, took the beast out by myself this time and holy smokes.

It shifts like a bad ****. L-O-V-E it!

Picking her up on Saturday.

It's a Lexus certified 2012 Black on Black/Suede interior, 30k miles on the odo. Getting her for $48,300 + fees. Good deal?

before or after tax? if its just fees then it is a good deal.

Tax is 9 percent.
The Sales Tax alone comes to $4347.

Then there is the doc, smog and the $494 license fee.

Oh ok. They kill u out there with taxes. The only bad fee all Lexus dealers in my area has is the $695 pure profit "dealer fee" that I can't stand

You guys think I should pass?

Black isn't my first choice in color either, it's just so damn hard to find a newer low mileage one around here.

My first color choice would be USB with the light grey (white?) color seats.

2nd would be white and 3rd place is black.
