I'll be putting those on mine after the Michelin's Turenza wear out on the IS350c.
I have had the Conti DWS for almost 24K and they are great, quiet tires. They're all-seasons though, so they don't handle as well as a summer tire. Got caught in a near monsoon driving to Canada once and the car held up well. My next set will be summer tires. For under $800, I have heard great things about the Bridgestone S04 & Conti DW.

Lou had some Contis he loved initially, but developed a loud humming noise he hated enough to take them off and put on S-04s. You might want to PM him and ask him about it, or search (yeah, I know the search leaves a lot to be desired) for the thread where he talked about it. Since noise is your primary concern, it might be worthwhile to make sure you don't get those same tires.

Oh, wait, I found it: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...xtreme-dw.html

This is the only feedback I can recall in this forum stating a noise issue with a particular tire brand.

another +1 for PSS. i just put a set on my IS-F 4 months ago and have been very pleased w/ the grip, noise, and wear so far. highly recommended.

if for some reason you want to do all-seasons, i have had a set of Conti DWS on our X5 for two years now...it is also very quiet with a "softer" ride. that also means the sidewall feels a bit softer compared to summer tires. i would get them again once this set wears out.

dedicated Summer tires (NON ALL Seasons) would be much quieter than other all season/winter tires so shop around and you can find a few tires with minimal road noise. From my experience, perelli and hankook summer tires had less road noise than others

I had pss's, went to as/3's. Called Michelin and threw the as/3's away. Back to pss's. Furthermore, I went to discountwheelwarehouse.com for the best deal and had a local guy put my tires on. Initially I wasn't sold on the pss bc they didn't last very long, but that's what you get with a little hp and a bad alignment. I'll be lucky to get another 15,000 miles out of these pss's but I'll be replacing with another set, no doubt.
