Default Headers?+Joe z Exhaust.

are headers going to make my joe z exhaust much louder or just "slightly"? or it just going to give me more horsepower? I currently have a Joe z Exhaust with a intake.

Headers will make quite lot of difference to the sound of your Joe Z.

Have a look at some of the YouTube videos with headers, exhaust, induction fitted.

I'm fortunate enough to only need my IS-F at the weekends. Don't think I could cope with the noise if I had it as a daily driver.

Hope this helps.

it makes it a lot louder, normal mode feels like sports mode and sports mode is now insanity.
get it.

When I had my intake and borla fitted, the sound was perfect. Then I added headers and initially the sound was so loud I regretted doing it. But after a few weeks I got used to the sound and now it doesn't bother me at all.

I have had mine a little over a month and it definitely changed in sound. It was very loud and raw at first but now it's a perfect deep growl that even the wife doesn't mind unless I really step on it, at WOT it is very loud but sounds awesome especially with the windows down.

Heres mine with a Joe Z exhaust and PPE headers. Pretty loud under heavy acceleration. Cruising at freeway speeds I honestly can't hear it at all, sounds completely stock while cruising unless I give it some gas then you can hear it. Its loud outside, but inside the car its definitely more tame then I expected it to be.

What is that weird sputtering hissing noise I hear in some videos when they rev up the car hard? Is it just the rev limiter kicking in? I have never fully revved mine up at idle and have never had mine make that sound

PPE makes a dual mode exhaust where you can make it quiet or loud when you want. Go from silent to violent. Need more videos on it, not many of them that are clear.

It's the rev limiter, which is a lot more noticeable when you have a loud exhaust. Stock it will make that sound too.

Thanks Redline, guess I haven't hit rev limiter yet, always learning something here.
