I got an Arcan about a month ago. Only used it once so far but it was money.

I would also recommend ramps too. They are quicker to use than jacks. I got some rhino ramps I picked up at Advanced Auto Parts. Used them on a lot of vehicles. I only really use the jack if I have to take the wheels off or need the whole car to be jacked up on fours. Oil changes and stuff I use ramps

We use this one (OTC) with my wife's lowered track cars and it's held up for probably 8 years so far with no issues. The reviews on this link though make me think the product may be now manufactured differently than when we bought it.
If you do get one of the cheaper ones from Harbor Freight or Northern Tool, definitely get the warranty as mentioned above. Before the OTC we had two of them, both failed and the warranty was well worth the small $$ add-on.
Costco has one (an Arcan, usually around $100) that is good for lowered cars, but is part steel and pretty heavy. I've also heard good things about one that Griot's Garage sells but like most things there it's probably marked up 25% in price.
