This isn't new. It's been in work for a long time and uses the same technology everyone in Japan uses - SARD Tuning's tool.

Be patient.

As Lobux mentioned, it's SARD that is making the breakthrough. Novel is using the same technology so it has enabled them to carry the same success.
More to coming in the following weeks...

So is it safe to assume that any ECU product Novel puts out will be similar to SARD?

Price point will be ridiculous and won't account for the mods on the car (headers, exhaust, etc.) since the ECU will have to be shipped to Japan to get the tune I'm sure.

Now if it was like Cobb and there were "off the shelf" maps that had different stages dependent upon the mods done and Octane levels that wouldn't be AS bad. Then again you still need a dyno or road tune to maximize it and that seems like it will never happen.

I'm glad someone is tackling the lack of tuning issue and making progress for this car but I don't see how it will be very beneficial or "worth" the cost.

if NOVEL is doing it , it should sell for a reasonable $15000 for the ECU. LOL

LMFAO, if they are looking for $4000+, I'd rather buy track time, gain experience and become a better driver. Big waste of money.... I think the most I'd spend is $2000 and thats pushing it. $1500 to me is perfect.

well a set of headers is $1200 or so for 30 or 40 HP, if one of these tunes can do 40 or 50 I would be ok with $1500 to $ 2k at the most....fingers crossed for now

I had an ECU tune on my G35. One of the first to be done in the US. It was $595 and made a HUGE difference in the feel of the car , especially when you have it tuned after all the mods are in. Considering that these guys will probably charge 5-6 times that I think I will pass. I also had blown injectors after 3 years with the tune. I dont want drama with my F. I am enjoying simple bolt ons and stock size tires
