Going to buy tires ASAP and am dying to find a good side shot of an ISF witht he 245/285 combo. I can find LowriderAZs zoomed in shots and Jeo Z's shot but his car is lowered and Lous shots are zoomed in. I was wondering ( and I know Im not the only one ) if anyone out there can post clear side shots of the car with this wheel and tire combo at stock ride height. It would be much appreciated and maybe we will end up getting more member in this set up.


Since Lou ( Lowrider AZ ) was kind of the 285/30 pioneer I would like to politely ask ( with sugar on top) if you could post a picture of your car with a side profile . Any help from any member would be greatly appreciated . Thank you in advance for your help

Hey, if you're in CA I have these size tires currently on my car (original owner put them on 20's, so I'm dying to get to 245/30 and 285/25 but these Falkens seem to be lasting a long time).

They still have a good amount of tread on them, and if you wanted I'd let 'em go cheap as I REALLY want to get the OD closer too OEM.

went in today and go the PSS in stock sizes. When I tired to order the 285 and they found out the the rear wheel was a 9" they said they would not be able to warranty the tire because its mounted on the wrong size wheel. The manager said it could great sidewall issues or bad wear. I didnt argue. Got the oem sizes and the car looks great. These Michelins look amazing. So much fatter than the RE050A. Between the looks and the added performance , these tires a mod in themselves imho

hey i8, why not do the 275's in the rear? i thought 275/30/19 was the typical upgraded size people went with on stock rear wheels for the pss.

I decided to upgrade the quality of the rubber before I upsized and still decrease unsprung mass while still maintaining the correct look for the car. I can still jump to the extreme performance class of tires to jump to before I upsize. I just don't want the car looking goofy with the smaller diameter tires and I didn't like the fact that the manager said there would be no warranty on my tires if I mounted the 285/30 ( although I feel like it looked fine with the 245/35 in front). The 245/35 and 275/30 add fender gap and imho makes the car look more like a typical IS350 . Coming from an LS460 on 22's, I dont want anybody thinking I am driving a regular ISX50, and by the way we have members still say they can spin the rear even with 285s

You mean light up the rears? ***** yeah, mine will spin all the way to the beep in 1st if I give it too much throttle from a stop...

I was going to but I hate that the rear diameter is .4" smaller than stock.

I would agree and Im not saying that because I have oem sizes. I think they did the best they could with what they had back in 2006-2007 when developing the car. The PSS came out in 2011. Pretty sure engineers would have used the PSS if it was available. I think its going on the RCF. I did a ton of research on the real effects of unsprung mass on steering feel, suspension dynamics , and even wear on suspension and even though it all seems like splitting hairs it all adds up. Going from the RE050A to the PSS reduced unsprung mass by 18 lbs !!!! AND we still have another class of tire to go to. The Extreme performance tire category has the RE11 available and they come in the oem size and the upsized 245/275 combo. I was going to do the RE11 at oem size but when I saw the PSS on RedlineAZs car I was sold. The added grip and the better looks is a mod in itself
