Yes it is true...I have been thinking about doing something different even after all the mods I have done over the last 6 months and I came across a great deal so this weekend we made it happen. I will miss the ISF community and will probably check back once in awhile and of course will check out every ISF I see on the road...but here is my new toy a 2009 911 (997) Carrera 4S PDK (AWD)...

Nice ride! IMO, the 997 is still the best looking 911 since the 993.

Congrats ! Very very nice. Dont feel bad about the mods. I traded in every single one of my tuned cars with the parts and wheels. I dont have time to part stuff out and if you get a good deal on something you like , you pull the trigger.

Beautiful car Bret. I will def try and hit the Reeve's C&C event and meet up with u. Ur F had the perfect all around set up so i advise anyone looking for an F to check out Reeve's in Tampa to see if it is available, only top notch mods are on his car.

Thank you so much and I did try to do a quality build and I think it lent itself to the trade I received as they first started off going by what their systems said it was worth (too low for me to make the deal) until they and their appriaser saw the car...then they were like we need to do some homework and get with our wholesale guy to see what he thinks he can get for it and then they came back with a good number...at least for me and Man I hope we can still hang out as I have enjoyed our time at Lexus Meets...I will let you know the next time I plan to go to Reeves C&C...

Congrats ! Cant believe you actually traded that beautiful F, but at least you went with a 997 which is the nicest of all their 911's (excluding the 993's of course Wish I would have known a day or so earlier...would have swapped out my almost new drop in AFE for your Tom's, Lol...

Congratulations on the Porsche! Car looks great. I wasn't as familiar with your F as it sounds like some of the other members on the boards (as I am fairly new) but saw some of your pics and I definitely see what they were talking about. Your car was clean man :-)


Curious, were your windows on the F tinted and if so what percent? Been thinking about getting mine done but don't wanna go too dark; was thinking about 35% and have been trying to find some examples of it done that way all around.
