Question for the ISF owners with oem size Michelin PSS on oem wheels.
Just wanted to ask your opinion of the grip of them oem set up with the Michelin PSS oem size. I am going to be replacing my tires soon and will be buying the Michelin PSS. I am tempted to try the 245/275 combo but I dont like the way the fender gap is increased ( I have been looking for 4 months for good clear photos of the 245/275 combo and they are literally almost impossible to find ) and I dont like the fact that the rear tire is .4" shorter than oem size (26-25.6) AND smaller than the front tire. I do want more grip, but after driving the car on the track ( other than the 2 sessions I did at over 100 degrees) I found that even the oem size RE050As were pretty damn good. I could hang with guys on 295s on all 4 corners .
Was wondering if what the owners with the oem size Michelin PSS thought of the performance on the street and even on the track. Thanks for your help
PS I am tempted to run a set of 19" TSW Nurburgring 19x9 +41 and 19x10.5 +40 with a 255/35/19 and 295/30/19 with a Michelin PSS. ( WHEELS AND TIRES ARE BOTH LIGHTER THAN THE OEM )
If anyone has a good picture of a 245/275 combo from the side, with decent lighting , and NO drop please post. Thanks

By the time you want a new set of tires, you should upgrade the whole new tires and wheels like you said.
With that new combo 19" TSW and PSS tires yours will fit perfectly only need the rear fender rolled bc it sticks out 34mm compared to the stock wheels.

Glad someone posted this, I will be needing new tires in the next 5-7k range & I was intending on choosing the PSS myself but was on the fence as OE size vs the larger alternative.

I have factory size PSS tires and I love then. They have their limits though. I feel that they have more grip than the bridgestones. They are also a considerable amount less in weight. I wouldn't really compare guys on a track because you have too many variables to really make an accurate comparison. Biggest of which, being driver skill. I too have seriously considered the 255/295 combo but I want lighter rims if I go that route and not quite ready to make that investment yet.

I went with 235 40 and 265 35 PSS on my stock 2013 wheels. IIRC, when I was trying to decide, that these were the ones closest to stock diameter. Whether they are taller or shorter, I don't remember, but they are closer to stock compared to 245 and 275. Or maybe I just didn't like the thin stretched stock ones on there

Met up with another member this weekend and his Michelins look like a different tire size even we are running the same sizes. They look so much better than my Bridgestones.

thanks Rossi. I appreciate your help. Do you have any pics of the 245 in front before the drop. The rear actually looks absolutely fine.
