Fresh Caliper Paint - USB on Mercury Metallic (+ powdered tips)
Hey everyone,
Per the title, check out the pics. They're very prelim - cell phone shots and I can still smell the paint from 3 feet away. =) These are the "immediately out of paint" shots.
Better pics from my Nikon will be added to my gallery this weekend after another coat of wax. I'm very happy with the work. I was surprised with the lack of clear shots on the web with this combination, so I hope this helps someone thinking of pulling the trigger.

Excellent.
I had them professionally done by a shop by me in IL - A&L Auto Body in Palatine. My 71 Cutlass took a trophy the very night out of paint from this place. There was still dust on the tires. =)

Thanks everyone.
Can you explain to me how you can tell? I'm looking at before and after shots and they look the same. Of course, they could've been wrong to begin with.
If you're right, would this screw anything up? I know the fronts aren't swappable... are the rears the same way? I have a road trip going down tomorrow...

It's not an "if." They're backwards for sure. Look at your front wheels, then look at your rear wheels. The fronts are correct. Why can't you swap from side to side (on both ends of the car)? Are you running some weird directional tires?

Nice! Great job on the color.
As for the rear rims, just swap the rears and they'll be perfect. Hopefully, those tires aren't directional. If so, just leave them. I heard it doesn't really matter much.

Yeah, I guess looking at the rears against the fronts makes it obvious.
My question about them doing any damage in their current state was due to the fronts having a designated right and left making them unswappable. I was curious if the backs were the same.
Regardless, they're wrong and will be corrected this evening. Thanks for your help.
