CEL Flashing & TRAC OFF = Limp Mode
Here's my brief history so far after only 4 short months of owning my '14 F:
3/20 - Picked up car new
3/21 - CEL Flashing / TRAC OFF - Limp Mode, shut car off, started back up, lights not showing
4/4 - CEL Flashing / TRAC OFF - Limp Mode, shut car off, started back up, lights flashing, unable to drive normally, took into service to investigate
4/8 - Picked car up, no clear answer on Limp Mode issue and stated engine still needs breaking in and to go easy on it until 1st oil change
6/1 - CEL Flashing / TRAC OFF - Limp Mode, shut car off, started back up, lights not showing
7/5 - Took into service for 1000 mi, no clear answer on Limp Mode issue and stated engine still needs breaking in and to go easy on it until 1st oil change
7/18 - CEL Flashing / TRAC OFF - Limp Mode, shut car off, started back up, lights showing but not flashing
7/19 - Texted Sales Manager about issue, no response
7/22 - Took into service to investigate
7/22 - Service Consultant called stating has call into Lexus to find answer
7/24 - Service Consultant called stating service tech and Lexus going back and forth
7/29 - Called Service Consultant after no response since Tuesday, Service Consultant stated service tech and Lexus still going back and forth
7/30 - Service Consultant called stating Rocker in Cylinder 7 is out of place. Master Cert. Tech needs to tear engine down to investigate and will call back Friday on diagnosis
Super frustrated that I waited so long to own my dream car and another 3 months for it to be built, then have these problems. I'm thankful to even own such a car, and that it's being looked at to repair if needed, but I'm apprehensive that the car will ever be the same (not that it was 100% to begin with) with it's brand new engine being torn down and don't want to regret my decision of buying it. Already thinking of "Lemon Law", "Buy Back", "Options", etc..
Anyone have any similar experience with same Limp Mode issue or anything similar?
Also looking for any advice or feedback on how to handle this with the dealer.
Thanks in advance!

Sounds serious never heard of this specific issue, could be a one off problem.... I have never even heard of an ISF going into reduced power mode either.
I would try to lemon law or buyback, a new car should not need an engine teardown if that is even the root cause. Issue could be systemic and be something else entirely, which means more time, more tear downs, etc.

wow! really surprised to hear about this. sorry but like what's been said hope lexus steps up and lemon's this or fixes it. I would ask for a new car or reimbursement.

I would try to lemmon law it, here in Ga 3 failed attempts to repair an issue on a new car and its considered a lemmon. Really sucks but being without your car especially the F just sucks.

very surprising. If I had this happen with a 2014 I would ask for my money back. In their defense they can open these engines up and put them back together with no issue
