Does the RC F mean the end of the IS F?
Just posted this over on the Blog.
The sales numbers seem like cause for concern, but it also feels like there's still space for the hot four door in the lineup. Maybe some spill over from RC F fans who really need the space?

The IS-F was designed as a complete, unchanging package, like the Ford GT. Yes, it changed a little, but the idea was to make the car unique, identifiable, and collectible. Our F's will increase in value when the model ends, even if there is a future four door F.

I think that by not offering a 4-door saloon like BMW, Audi, and Mercedes does they will be doing a disservice to themselves if they really want to compete with the German automakers. To develop a legacy and fan following they have to build these cars. Just look at BMW they build some great performance machines more performance vehicles than regular econoboxes. Lexus/Toyota is trying to do both. I think it's hard to do both.

Anyone know the differences between the IS-F and RC-F engines? The IS-F is rated at 213hp, but the RC-F is rated at 250+....wondering where they pulled the extra ponies from...

ISF Value
So its going to be the next Supra? You can already see people dumping there ISF cars. Waiting for the RCF to become available.

Those numbers look pretty low for both. The ISF is rated at 416. The RCF has not been officially announced yet.
