Default Left Hand Navi Buttons Not Working

The touchscreen went out on my 2008 ISF. No big deal I thought. Bought a replacement screen on eBay, installed, and, of course, the new screen is defective. Took the old screen and repaired it per the write up. Good deal. Screen is working, but now there is a new problem. If I press any of the left hand hard buttons next to the screen, one of two things happen. The screen either goes black or I get vertical stripes. No map, no navigation, no menu. Also, depending on what I select from the other options (like in the info menu), same thing happens. I entered the diagnostic screen and I'm not showing any faults.

Anyone have any ideas on what is going on? I ran a few searches, but didn't see anything helpful. Thanks.

I'd check the connectors first. Sounds like one of them is not seated properly.

Thanks. Unfortunately it isn't that simple. All the connectors have been quadruple checked. Everything is seated properly...
