I had this code come up on my 08 ISF. I have approx. 90k on the odometer so I wanted to change my spark plugs anyway because I purchase the car used with 65,000 miles. I don't have a lexus dealer where I live so after looking up how much of a PIA it is to change the plugs on this engine I decided to take it to the Toyota dealership that I've brought my other Lexus vehicles to for maintenance.

They replaced the plugs and it didn't fix the inconsistency in the cylinder. They replaced coils and igniters etc. with no luck. Basically, they said it is likely an internal issue. CEL light is off and car has always run strong, but they said the light will probably come back. Fortunately, I have an extended warranty but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue. I did a search and it doesn't look to be a common problem at all.

Oh yeah, only mods are JoeZ exhaust, aftermarket air filter, and I'm lowered.
