Default What I did about my Joe Z intake getting hot

I'm happy with my Joe Z intake, just got hotter than I liked,so I decided to do some thermal coating. I used VHT hi-temp wrinkle finish, I am pleased with the results, now its the same temp as the OEM air box after driving an hour in 95 degree temps, here is some before , during and installed pics

and 1 more, was really surprised on how well it worked, anyway I know its not for everyone, but this stuff works!

I bought a Silicone tube.......thats how I fixed that...lol

LOL, right, that had crossed my mind but $10 later it is just as good, but the blue HPS is really nice looking.

Looks really good! The only thing I would do is replace those sleeves with solid black ones. I was always bothered by the orange.

yes ^^^^^^^and something a little better looking to replace those hose clamps, anyone got any suggestions
