I was reading through the owner's manual (the navigation manual in particular) and I see there are two custom image options for the IS F. I didn't see this on any other threads, and the feature doesn't seem to be in the 2012 manuals I have either... did all IS F have this feature?

I created an "F" logo image to pop up on mine briefly after the Lexus name/logo splash screen, and when you turn the display off, you can select a different image to be displayed (instead of a blank screen). You get to download three image options for each of these two screens (all JPG). From my experimentation, it appears the navigation screen supports a native 800x480 display resolution (Wide VGA), but you can download higher resolution images, and it scales down cleanly.

I have attached my custom start up image, and some setup images to show you what I mean. They're under the Setup button.

I have a bit over 300 miles on my IS F now. She (nickname = "Fuji") is an AWESOME car.

Attached... plus a couple of others I fiddled with as well.

I have pushed her (performance wise) just a little bit so far - it is so tempting to tap into that power but I am really holding myself back...

sweet man, i think 2013 is the peak year for the F. you get all the upgrades that matter and the better white color option to boot. at least for fans of white anyway.

For some reason is not letting me transfer the images. I followed the directions from the manual as to the exact folder names, sizes and characters, but it just won't transfer. What do you think I'm doing wrong?

I have a 2013 and mine won't let me transfer images no matter what file type I try. However, the dealership was able to add their own image when they sold me the car.....
