2012 ISF or new rc350 fsport?
#16
My take is that this a personal decision and without seeing or driving a new RC F Sport it is a difficult decision...??maybe?? Let me explain what recently happened to me...MYISF has been sitting alot as I am waiting for the 90 day mark for my clear coat to cure (August 9th...yeah!)...anyway not the point...so the dealership I go to and who sponsors MYISF, listens to me and orders a 2014 IS 350 F Sport with the F Sport exhaust and then lowers it on RSR springs and throws Vossen CV7 wheels on it...very nice. They sold it in three days. Anyway I took it out for a spin when they first got it and it has all the options...so because I am not driving MYISF much I actually started thinking about how nice it would be to have a brand new IS 350 F sport (white with red interior) and setup like the one the dealership had done and then I would make it my DD...well I actually started seriosuly considering it and then that weekend the weather was really nice so I took MYISF out for a ride...
WTF was I thinking There is no comparison when it comes to the "fun" factor...so moral of the story is new does not override "Performance"...ever! LMAO!!! Good luck with your decision...

i had a similar decision. I was thinking about a 2011+ ISF vs 2014 IS350 F Sport. Decided I wanted the newer tech and updates over the V8. Price was similar. RC350 F Sport might be a bit more expensive than a 2012 ISF. RC F Sport probably going to be low 50s vs mid 40s for a 2012 ISF. My IS350F was 48k MSRP

Hey guys, been a lurker for a long time and rarely posted. But just wanted some opinion on what you guys would pick! I'm in the market for a new Lexus and it's coming down to these two cars. A cpo isf just came onto the market. It is a 2012 with around 11000 Km (canada) for around 56k. I'm not sure what the rc350 fsport would be price wise, but I'm guessing it's fairly similar to that. I'm leaning more towards the ISF as that car is simply a beast. However, I would love to hear some opinion from others on which car they would choose!

I needed a sedan due to having twin girls. My options at the time with Lexus was IS-F or GS350. Couldn't really decide because I was trying to be logical as it will be my daily. Well, nothing was logical about the IS-F for a daily or a family car. My wife said buy what make you happy and we can use her RX350 as the family car. She just doesn't want me to buy another coupe...what's next? IS-F it is....the GS was nice and I'm sure the RC "F sport" will be nice too... If you a performance guy, go with the IS-F....it's the second best Lexus in performance so far....good luck! What the hell is "F sport" anyway?

ISF 2012 . Its got the newer suspension and all the top level design tweaks. Its basically the beginning of the best of the ISF run ( tweaked suspension, new wider wheels, new lights, new dash lay out). The RCF is newer with newer infotainment and looks, BUT is a dog compared to the power the ISF makes and will be a first year model of a first generation. Get ready for some annoying visits to the dealership if you buy the RCF. Its inevitable. First year of a first generation vehicle will have "teething issues". No contest. ISF
