Default 2012 ISF or new rc350 fsport?

Hey guys, been a lurker for a long time and rarely posted. But just wanted some opinion on what you guys would pick! I'm in the market for a new Lexus and it's coming down to these two cars. A cpo isf just came onto the market. It is a 2012 with around 11000 Km (canada) for around 56k. I'm not sure what the rc350 fsport would be price wise, but I'm guessing it's fairly similar to that. I'm leaning more towards the ISF as that car is simply a beast. However, I would love to hear some opinion from others on which car they would choose!

IS-F will be a faster car, the RC-350 F sport will just be newer. IS-F may have the outdated look but I would choose that one over the RC350

A lot of current IS-F owners were in a similar situation before purchasing, myself IS350 vs IS-F. I doubt any of us regret our decision. Also, keep in mind the RC350 will likely become a common site within a few years, while the IS-F will remain a rarity.

I'm sure there will be some benefits to the RC as it is a newer car, though I haven't been following the it that closely. Finally, most likely, everyone here will tell you: IS-F!

a slower, lower performing car that will have newer tech and become commonplace as soon as they come out OR the isf? i'll take the V8.

No brainer, no comparison, no doubt, go with the ISF.

Unless you can fork over some coin for an RCF if the looks tickle your fancy.

RC350 if you are into new shiny things. Buy the F if you are into performance. 2012 is equal to the E92 M3 in performance.

ISF 2012 . Its got the newer suspension and all the top level design tweaks. Its basically the beginning of the best of the ISF run ( tweaked suspension, new wider wheels, new lights, new dash lay out). The RCF is newer with newer infotainment and looks, BUT is a dog compared to the power the ISF makes and will be a first year model of a first generation. Get ready for some annoying visits to the dealership if you buy the RCF. Its inevitable. First year of a first generation vehicle will have "teething issues". No contest. ISF

Do you want a car that moves or a shiny turd? The new RC isn't a turd by any means this was just anology, lol.

outdated in the sense that all newer lexus cars has the weird cross spindle grille while the IS-F is sporting the old 2IS look

i had a similar decision. I was thinking about a 2011+ ISF vs 2014 IS350 F Sport. Decided I wanted the newer tech and updates over the V8. Price was similar. RC350 F Sport might be a bit more expensive than a 2012 ISF. RC F Sport probably going to be low 50s vs mid 40s for a 2012 ISF. My IS350F was 48k MSRP

I have an 03 G35, 07 GS350, and 07 LS460. All of them were first year models ( 06 was first yr for 3GS but it was GS300) and they all had little issues they shouldn't have had. My ISf is the harshest riding of the bunch and the least luxurious but yet it is the most solid and reliable Lexus I have had . I know its because my 2010 is the 3rd year of the generation.
