I know it's slightly off topic, but I don't think Borla makes that much of a difference from Joe-Z. Different conditions on the dyno. Also Caymandive's and toothdoc's excellent times are mainly attributed to experience and properly preparing the car, not the choice in power mods (ie. sikky vs ppe, joez vs borla vs issforged).

I'm guessing these were different cars, dynoed on different dynos on different days?
There may be some difference in power between the two exhausts, but it's minimum. The big difference in my chart is that the runs were done on different days. My chart that Lou posted does however give us an overall picture of power progression with modifications.

Yeah I agree those charts give you a general idea, and as for the difference between the two exhausts yes I agree it should be minimal but those graphs can make you think otherwise.

I'm sure I've seen a few dynos with Joe-z hitting close to 400, but can't remember where.

Agreed and it's always good to pay close attention to dyno charts which is why I included at the bottom all the SAE correction information. As you can see the SAE correction for both the Borla and JoeZ dyno runs were 1.00 yet the day the Borla was dyno'd the temps were around 66F vs 88F with JoeZ. I guess because the Barometric pressure was higher and the humidity lower on the JoeZ run which are favorable conditions, the SAE formula decided 1.00 for both. As most of us know temperature is the biggest difference so even with SAE correction applied on dyno's I'm still skeptical of actual results unless the runs were done on the same day in around the same time.

Hear's another Dyno Chart:

The Red Line car is my friend's F with JoeZ Exhaust, PPE Headers, K&N Intake and NO Cats.

The Blue Line car is my F with PPE Headers, PPE Dual Mode Exhaust with valves open, Takeda Intake and Hi-Flow Cats.

I will say it depends on driver and if you manage to
Keep the guy making your race

I put my car 3 gear 4500 rpm , and ive beat them by half a car or one car! They pull strong but we have better top end. My mods are ppe, iss forge qes, silicone intake section , and everthing else stock. There are only a few that seemed to be faster but they didnt raced

Glad my car had Borla to begin with, after adding PPE headers car feels like a much larger beast now especailly in sport mode. I may just squash plans for adding LSD & go for the tune if it ever gets released that is.

Adding the LSD will totally change your car. Forget the tune.

I have the Borla and thinking of adding ppe. I've read by adding the headers you remove some of the low rpm drone from the borla? I know the combo sounds amazing.

In all the cars that I have put headers in, you basically turn up the volume of your exhaust.

If you remove the cats it becomes more raspy.
