Default New gifts for the F

Enkei PF01, 18x9.5 +45 offset in matte black wrapped in Hoosier R6's 285/30/18 and SS stoptech brake lines. Also got in my carbotech pads XP12's for up front and XP8's for the back. Can't wait to get the car all fitted and ready to rock.

nice, interested in the brake line install process. hopefully doesn't involve bleeding with techstream software.

I just bled my brakes 5000km ago and should have done the lines at the same time. I have the techstream software so it won't be an issue. I didn't use it last time and been to the track 4 times since without an issue. I will most likely run the program this time around.

Love those wheels, very CCS-Rish, which are my personal favourite wheels for the F

Thanks, and after reading more about the brake flush and techstream, I will be doing it 100%.

Great track wheel! Can't wait to get your feedback after some track runs.

That tire is bad ***. You will never understeer or oversteer again. Those tires will have that suspension loading up big time. Have a great time at the track

I did go today but without parts installed. Track was a llittle wet causing me to go off road a few times lol. Knowing there are no walls allows you to still push hard even on a wet track. Hopefully I can get this stuff on the car ASAP. Weather permitting, I will be going back on Friday.

The only scary wall is the one on the front straight.. Watched a guy flip his WRX on it once. If the weather stays clear for friday I'm down to meet up with you there.

Wow. People that close to pit wall? The organizers are stupid. That car could have just as easily jumped the wall and crushed the bystanders including the guy with the camera. Will they NEVER learn spectators can't be this close to an active track session?

It was probably a good thing you had a wet session. The grip from the R6's is something you've not experienced, and they break away very differently from street tires. Take your time getting up to speed with them, you have a steep learning curve in front of you.
