Unscrew intake box (two 10mm bolts I believe)
Have someone lift the box for you (no need to completely take off the intake, but you can undo the intake elbow from the box), and you can access passenger side bulb. use a flathead to pop open the metal "gate" and voila, bulb is there.
For driver side, simply unscrew one 10mm bolt on washer fluid cap, and pop the plastic tube and cap up.
You will be able to access bulb easily now (with some wire moving).
Changing both of my low beam bulbs took me about 25min, and that's with reinstalling the intake box and engine covers.
Good luck!

I did this^^ after I started having issues with one of my bulbs being intermittent. It's pretty easy.
I bought Philips bulbs. Same exact bulb as OEM, and paid far less than half what these Osrams cost.

I am a little disappointed with the factory output of my 2011 headlights. Thinking about these bulbs, and potentially a clear lens upgrade if it will yield me better results. Anyone done both the bulbs and lenses?

I got these bulbs awhile back and clear lens swapped about 2 week after. With the lens swap, the white was more crisp and so was the cutoff which also added a little bit more color to it. To me, it did make driving a night a little better but it isn't a full retro so just don't expect it to be super wide or crazy cutoffs. I will take a few pics later tonight.

Cool, thanks.
I did a retro on my Volvo through Matt @ TRS and looked great. Hard to compare to stock since it was vastly superior. My wife's C300 with the lighting package is leaps and bounds better than this car, which is a bummer. Exploring options to get some better output. I feel like the adjustment is off too, need to verify they are aimed properly too.

I've considered doing the clear lens swap but it's not high on my priority. Switching between my S2000 and my ISF it still blows my mind how crappy the headlight output is on this car. If the 2012 headlights weren't so expensive I'd consider retroing some non crappy projectors in there.
