Dang that sucks..

oh yeah definitely like the start up dance. man this video shoudl have been filmed after the car was warmed up though, that way the coolant temp gauge would have moved, ha.

also, i'd like to add that i love the fact that the cup holder is self contained, so that you can drop little screws or whatever in there without having to worry about it falling into some crevice

and that little door handle on the inside of the trunk makes closing the trunk almost a quick one touch affair if you pull it out towards you with the just right amount of force, it closes nice and gently as you walk away from it..

Nice! I'll try your trunk closing method for sure!

If this doesnt work for you, then it will most likely be you need to go to a dealer and get it programmed (personalised features)

I done this myself and it now works

No. All you do is hold the paddle and it will go into S mode on a US model.

Sorry for the delayed response...

While driving in 'Automatic mode' if you tap the downshift paddle it will temporarily activate the 'Manual mode'. The difference of course being that you did not move the gear-shift to the manual position so there are 1 of 3 ways to re-engage the 'Automatic mode'.

1) For the purposes of this example, press and hold the upshift paddle for about 5 seconds and it will return to 'Automatic mode'
2) Come to a complete stop
3) Move the gear-shift to the manual position and then back to automatic

Hope that explains it a bit better :-)

When in manual mode when you slow down and downshift I love the automatic "blip" of the throttle... Especially when you go from 3rd to 2nd with a little higher RPM's.

Also, how I custom wired up my 2014 "Sport" button on the steering wheel on my 2010. I need to do a write up of this.

it isn't manual mode at all. It's the same as shifting to L in an old school auto. It just limits the highest allowable gear. You have to move the shifter to get M mode no matter how you slice it.
