It's the S mode. Pull and hold the upshift paddle and it will engage S mode so you can limit the highest gear. It is not the same as M mode.

One of the best comfy seats there are!

For some, could you at the very least RTFM! Leave it in the bathroom as a reading material if you must.

I like the courtesy lights at night when i walk up to my car. I remember when i first got it and walked up to it at night i had to take a step back and see where it was coming from. The key less entry is a nice feature as well Ive walked up to my other cars trying to open the door forgetting i don't have it. I really like how rare this car is well at least around my neck of the woods so its holds some what of a sleeper look, to people who don't know just think its a regular IS. I could go on about the small things i love about this car but seeing as everyone here owns or owned one at some point share the same passion for the vehicle as me.

2 other items I love... the led's that light up when you get close to your car or unlock your doors (door handles and under the mirrors), also walking up to the car and just grabbing the door handle with the fob in my pocket and the doors unlock.

Just don't fall asleep on the couch when it's raining out and your cars outside with your key fob in your pocket
When you walk out to your car in the morning it will temporarily be your least favorite little feature.

I was luck enough to have that experience with my old IS250 at 6:30am when I was leaving for work.
Surely not one of my finer moments.
