First let me say CONGRATS !!! Very cool buddy. Many happy miles to you and Godzilla !!

I am also looking at the GTR as my next beast ( if not the RCF). I was shopping for the GTR when I bought my ISF. I had an LS460 on 22's before so when I test drove the GTR from the LS it just seemed WAY too noisy and bumpy. Now that I am used to the bumpy ride in the ISF I think I can get used to the beast from the east. Still was the noisiest car I have ever driven ( also the fastest ). My wife was surprised that I went with the F and not the GTR, especially since she gave me her blessing to go out and buy the monster.

your ISF was my favorite MRM and I'm sad to see you go, but this is a logical upgrade for you.

Thanks everyone I wish I never liked cars lol daym money pits!!

I am not 100% sure what the plans are for the GTR yet but probably for now just enjoy it as is and if the mod bug bites (which it usually does) I will take it from there.

I think I am going to take the F to car max tomorrow see what they will give me for it. Hopefully more than the Nissan dealer was offering

Congrats Murph! I did the same thing and honestly still not loving the GTR. Do a Cobb/Ecutek and at least a mipipe. The stock exhaust note is just way to quiet... sounds like a washing machine. With a resonated midpipe the car is perfect as far as i'm concerned in terms of DD duty/no drone and actually sounding like a 100k sports car should.

That being said... meh. I want an ISF again. Only cool part of the GTR is the thumbs up you get everytime you drive the car.

yea it is definitely a quiet car I will PM you to get more info on what you did and where to get stuff.

the GTR is the weekend canyon cruiser. I have a new dodge ram hemi quad cab that honestly is almost more luxurious than my F haha has heated cooled seats heated steering wheel, sun roof power rear window leather seats and its a truck!

The GTR seems very bogish when you drive it slow very clunky and machine sounding in a way. But that acceleration from first two second is just insane. I think making the GTR sound better is my first goal. I want it to sound like you said a $100K car

Actually now my fiance is wanting to have it as her DD and get rid of her car so I actually might just keep it. I have a 7 year 125K mile bumper to bumper warranty on it so might as well keep the daym thing.

Congrats on the new car! I'd hate to think what they got you for :\ Probably 110k+...

I really think the GT-R and the IS-F are apples and oranges. If you can swing it and have the room...keep the F.

great choice. I love Godzilla. Have since before they hit the states . I was going to buy a used one but decided on the F because the ride in the GTR tripped me out after 3 yrs with an LS460. Now that im used to the harsh ride in the ISF, I think I could handle the noise and harshness of the GTR

the GTR was $103K doing a lease because i can write a lease off 100% through my business

The black edition was a 2013 and they tried ripping me off on it. It was new but in reality as soon as i were to drive it off the lot it would become a 2 year old car since the 2015's are out.

so i told them what another dealership was willing to offer and we went back and forth for a little while and they came back and matched the other offer I had for a 2015 premium. The black edition only has some interior red leather, different wheels and carbon spoiler. I am going to get the carbon spoiler and I am going to get a set of custom ADV's so the black edition rims were pointless to me.

I believe the next logical upgrade is the Jaguar XFR-S
