Anyone have a picture of maybe a Red or Blue Lug nut with Stock Wheels?

With stock wheels, I was told aftermarket lug nuts will not seat properly. There is an acorn style that is specified for aftermarket wheels with aftermarket lug nuts, not OEM wheels. The only option would be to get your factory lug nuts anodized or powdercoated.

MOST aftermarket lugnuts are acorn/tapered so the SHOULD NOT be used with stock wheels. The stock/OEM lug nuts are mag seats with washers. It's very unlikely that you will find the correct OEM style lug nuts in Blue or Red.

Lol Kyle! No competition, just bored at work. But you did provide a great visual. Some have tried to fit aftermarket lugs and the result ended up in wrecking the finish of the wheel and lug and a whole lot of cursing soon after.

That's because the sti bbs has an acorn taper as do the mcgards. Those aren't going to fit your Lexus wheels.

Plasti dip the nuts once they are mounted on the car, if you want color bad enough I guess

My 1997 Supra Turbo had the same kind of OEM lugs (mag seat w/washer) for the 17" OEM Toyota wheels. When I (finally) was able to secure some 18" TRD Sports wheels (mfg by Rays) for the Supra, those wheels needed tapered lugs... that matched nicely to some TRD spline lugs (from McGard as the mfg).

So I am inclined to also agree that you should stay away from anything other than those flat lugs w/washer seats for the OEM Lexus wheels. It's important you match lugs w/your wheels carefully.

All Toyota passenger cars use the same lug. McGard makes compatible locking lugs for Toyota, but they don't offer aftermarket in the same style.

The OEM lugs are very heavy and very reliable. It would be nice to have some lighter options, but I've never been able to find them.

I got these off of eBay. They are just painted, not anodized or anything, so who knows how long they'll last, but they were cheap and they come with a lock, so I took a chance.

Yes. eBay has a few selections. Never thought of poking around there, but they have chrome, black, blue, and "neon" options which would all work with the OEM wheels.
