Get a motorcycle like how I did lol...
If fuel economy is really an issue, Keep the IS-F and get a second car for you to travel to work in. As much as I hated the car, my gf and I got a Prius and its been working out well to still keep the other toys. Cannot beat 50mpg in a gas crisis. If your not a hybrid guy, look into some older VW/Audi TDI's as they get 40+MPG. The 4th gen jetta TDI's (2005+) can be had for under 10k. My buddies gf has one and she gets 850 miles to a full tank

Keep the isF!!! I was daily driving the F to and from work.. round trip was 35 miles. . Gas was ridiculous but hey its a fun car. What I did now was got a 99 civic and daily drive that to work, saves me tons of gas $ and on Thursdays, Fridays and weekends I take out the f to work or go out

I did the (almost) exact same thing. I've been daily driving my F for the last 2 years with a 60 mile commute 5 days a week, racked up the odometer a bit ahahah. Bought my girlfriend an 04 Corolla a couple months ago and now drive the Corolla on M/W/Th/F and drive the F on Tues/Sat/Sun or when weather permits
