Very nice Kyle. My fabricator friend is looking to get some free time off his race cars to fab up equal length long tube headers for me soon. He actually said that Novel's quality looks ****ty!! This is what he typically does

Sounds fantastic man. Get that thing on a dyno, and let us know how it goes.

Congrats, your car sounds awesome, Mk4Sup's fab is just a hater and loves to cut pie pieces up and waste time welding instead of using mandrel bent pipes.

Congrats on the new setup. Sounds awesome! Would love to see pics or hear details of your custom mid-pipe.

I agree. Sounds awesome. It would be fun to play with different catbacks to see how things change.

LOL, and I was thinking that was the worlds nicest drier duct.
That is some pretty sweet fab work though. He must be Japanese, those JDM guys love pie cuts.

Sadly it's stone age tech. Digital printing will kill the demand for skilled welders in this arena, and it will make mandrel bending a thing of the past for low volume production.

I didn't know digital printers for pipe and tubing where something that where available or becoming available. That should open up the doors for major advancement in the design possibilities for headers, exhaust, intake, I/C piping, and wow...anything really.

I'm trying to understand how this would work for differant grades of steel and aluminium or would those no longer be the preferred materials as well?

Definitely worth it if you can swing it. The smooth power delivery is extremely noticeable

I agree, it completely changed the car. And sounds exotic especially in the 2-4k RPM range.

I agree, would be interesting to see the differences, I know my HKS setup was pretty raspy even before the Novel headers. Anyone in California want to swap catbacks and record the differences lol.
