it's for North America which includes Canada since there is only a cluster metrics difference miles/h vs km/h.

Read my post again....."getting a CEL later on"

There are no promises that the car will remain CEL free just because 4 flashed ECU's checked out. Look at all the guys with headers, the majority of them get CEL's even with o2 sims. If the flash was done in the states it'd be a bit more assuring.

I think most people with headers don't have cel. The ones that do starts threads to problem solve.

As much as I would love to do this. Im not sending my ECU anywhere, especially not for multiple weeks. I was scared enough driving to LA to have my G35s done because it was 6 hrs away plus the cost was only $600 and it was done on the spot and the tech test drove the car 4 times !!

I would definitely be in for a group buy. Long drive from TN to Cali, but if the results are worth it... ROAD TRIP!!

I remember years ago, a rich kid from toronto flew in the hit man from Australia to tune his Toyota MR2. He paid for his flight, accommodations, food and tuning time. The best of all, many people took advantage of him being here and paid just for tuning. Isn't there a rich fellow F owner who wants this tune so bad they can fly Sard to the USA? Lol

You can check your existing ECU Part # and I can check for you.
But most likely, negative.

Euro Spec ECU should have different part number. Not JDM and Not USDM.

If Canada have the same ECU part number like the North America, then you guys are good!

Please read my post, there will be NO CEL!! NO Light are suppose to goes on in your dash.
There is promises that there will be NO CEL or VSC light.
If there is any light, SARD Japan will fix it for free. (If the light goes on due to the ECU flash.)
Everything should work like stock after the ECU reflash.

I don't think we are able to afford the price of flying the SARD team to the U.S.
Also, you are looking at 6000+ USD if they do personal tuning for you.
The hardest thing is to get 100 cars I think…...

To everyone that is concern about the ECU reflash.
SARD Racing is simply bringing out the full potential from the ISF that should be coming from stock.
They are not cracking the ECU or any add on reflash ecu box like VW/Audi etc.
They are rewriting the whole map in the ECU with the data provided by Toyota and Denso Japan.
SARD Racing are Lexus Racing Team in Japan, they race with Lexus and they work on Toyota and Lexus everyday.
http://www.sard.co.jp/race_r/
All Japanese tuner who tune Lexus are using SARD Racing device, the base map is all written by SARD Racing. Novel, iCode etc etc.

I asked SARD Japan, they said their tuning do not have any problem with Lexus Japan.
Their customer are able to go back to the dealer and warranty is valid.
The dealer program will not be able to detect if you ECU is reflashed or not.

The tuning is written base on 91 U.S. Fuel = 95 JP Fuel.
(Require to fill up with 91 Gas or UP.)

What does SARD ECU tuning do?

- fuel injection timing
- ignition timing
- Throttle control
- Throttle response
- Rewrite the transmission program to increase the accelerator response and linear
- Faster shifting time
- Increase midrange accelerate speed and response
- 7-12% increase in HP.
- Cancel the speed limiter.

Thank you

Nigel

Do you mean this will reduce the lag between when the paddle is pressed and the actual shift from the transmission occurs or the shifts themselves?

I hope it also fixes that annoying delay when you're on the interstate and step down hard. It takes too long to go from your current gear down two gears because its a two stage effect. I'm sure everyone knows exactly what I'm talking about. I guess that was to protect the tranny which by the way is the finest one I've ever owned. I'm on my second F. My Cadillac V was a beast but the tranny was nowhere near as sweet as ours on the F. I can't wait to do this upgrade and experience the improvements it brings to the tranny as well.

Okay so will their upgraded mapping include extra provisions in the fuel, and timing to possibly go FI if a person chooses to do so?
