USDM ISF ECU TUNE - FINAL STAGE! 2008-2013 Owner needed!
#16
We are very happy that we can finally offer it as well.
The tune is basically for everyone, stock or modded will work and you will see a noticeable change between stock ECU v.s. SARD Racing ECU.
But we cannot provide a personal tuning, like specific for X intake + X header + X exhaust.
If you want a tune E.G. Joe-Z Intake + Joe-Z exhaust, this will be a personal tune.
It will need SARD Racing Japan to come over to the U.S. or send your car to Japan to get this kind of tuning, also, it will be very very expensive! More than 20K USD per car if you want personal tuning, they charge by hour and you need to pay for the flight and everything.
To everyone, this is NOT a crack or anything like Honda, BMW etc.
SARD Racing Japan will NOT offer any program to anyone.
The tuning is preset and done, it is just like your stock ECU, it is preset by Lexus and done.
When you modify (E.G. Joe-Z Intake + Joe-Z Exhaust), it doesn't affect anything and you are not require to tune your ECU after the Intake + Exhaust.
The SARD ECU Tuning is an advance version of the Lexus preset ECU.
SARD Racing Japan will rewrite the whole ECU Mapping (Fuel, Air Ratio, Throttle response etc.) and get more power and response from the car.
You are not require to tune it again, if you change from stock to Joe-Z intake + Joe-Z exhaust.
or if you are coming from Joe-Z intake + Joe-Z exhaust, and go back to stock.
The SARD ECU Tuning will work on both modded or stock ISF.
If anyone have driven a Honda and chipped their ECU with Mugen ECU, it works exactly the same way. You send your ECU to Mugen and they will chip it for you.
It is ideal to go with Mugen Intake, Header + Exhaust, but you can also use, J's Racing Intake, Amuse Header + HKS Exhaust. It doesn't matter.
In Japan or any part in the world, only SARD Racing Japan can do the ECU tune on Toyota or Lexus. (There is some other small shops in Japan are offering ECU tuning, but their ECU tuning program is also provided by SARD Racing Japan.)
If you don't know SARD Racing Japan, please check the link in the following.
They are Racing team in Japan for Toyota and Lexus in GT300 and GT500.

Novel ECU tuning is provided by SARD Racing Japan.
Many other Japanese companies that offer Lexus/Toyota ECU tuning are all the same.
They are all SARD Racing Japan tuning after all.

Got it, I remember Hondata used to do a reflash for Hondas and it made a good change since it was based on I/H/E.. since our tunes may be conservative then we may have a better chance of a bit more HP but realistically I want to see the graphs smoothed out so we make more power all around, not just on the top end.
Very interested in where this goes..

Suggest folks considering sending their ECUs in make sure to get a 'before' dyno if you don't already have one.

In the OP, It said you bought an USDM IS-F and worked on it. I'm sure you can supply the year that was tested on as well as what were the benefits gained from this modified SARD ECU. I'm talking stock baseline to what improvements have been seen. Also what is the longevity of this ECU tune. You have been testing for a year but how many miles were you able to put on the car before/if something went wrong. I know hondata did a 20,000 mile test before they mass produced their ECU reflash.
