Where are the details???
Gains on stock car?
Cost?
Reliability?
Turn around time?

This starts to sound like the HG tune thread

Nigel is a very long term trust worthy vendor on here and has been supporting the IS market since model inception in 2001.

I would believe for him to be involved with this.... there is merit.

Why pm for details? Can you not post them up so we can all see?

I'll be the first one to say, what's the point PMing details as a secret. Whoever asked probably received all the same info. OP should post full details and be done with it.

I believe Nigel is not blowing smoke. This seems like a real solution and if it wasn't I doubt he would be doing himself any favors by offering smoke and mirrors and pissing people off.
He did say that it needs to be further tested by installing a tuned ECU in each year car so that shows that there are still minor details to iron out. He is being forthcoming about that so to ask about reliability, etc. is not really fair just yet.
I did receive all the details and I'm not sure why he only wants to do that through PM but it's his business and I respect it.
I would love to send my ECU but unfortunately here in Boston the summers are not long and with my busy schedule I barley drive my car as it is. I can't give up my ECU for weeks right now. I wish this happened over the winter while my car was sitting covered on a lift.
Hopefully a few people step up and send there's soon, I would love to see the feedback.

I've got the details too. But for me its not worth it. Cost too much for the risk I'm taking.

The changes from the ecu tune is very real, the changes done will transform the way we feel the power is delivered.. I just wish I could commit to the cost of it.

1000% real here. It's been a long time coming from a well known invested member with connections to the Jdm Toyota tuning world.

Hello Guys,

Information are not posted because everything is not final and we still need 4 cars to make it 100% sure it will have no problem on all model year.
It is now 99.99% confirm everything is good, but we would like to have 4 different model year to try out and make sure it is 100%.

The only thing that will happen is the light on your dash, e.g. VSC etc.
Each model year ECU have a different part number and there is minor changes in between all these ECU.
If any light goes on, we just need to know what light it is and we will adjust the setting for that model year then reflash it for you.
For the 4 persons who are willing to do the ECU first, if lights really goes on. We will take care of it and send the ECU back to Japan and make the changes.
(Until everything 100% work just like OEM and we will cover all shipping during the time for this 4 persons.) *

Basically, everything is ready.
The Tuning is done and the it is ready as soon as any of you guys are ready to send your ECU to Japan.
It is good to go.

Time Frame
3-5 Days from YOU (U.S.) to Japan (SARD)
3-5 Days from Japan (SARD) to YOU (U.S.)
2 Days for SARD Racing Japan
3 + 3 + 2 = 8 Days (Fastest time)

I would say 10-20 days just to be safe.

Thank you.

Nigel

Nigel,

Is it possible to tell us what the performance differences would be vs stock ECU?

Thanks,
Dan

Nigel, i would like to suggest a better solution , y dont u ask them to come to the USA here ? do it on the spot before and after dyno also. 1st ask them what is the cost of them coming here. i can get a long list of real F owners are interested for you , group buy and deposit 25% to 50% in advance so show how serious we are. Also u can set up vendor for them, tuned ISx50 also They can make ton of money that way , oh and forgot to mention its all cash
