Is there a way to change the DRL color without the V-LED kit? Perhaps a white bulb?

You can always buy sylvania superstar bulb and call it a day, whatever white bulb you use will have to be halogen, or else you will have flickering issues with just using an LED bulb. I just recently installed LEDs into mine using a harness and couldnt be happier

As long as you have halogens the DRL will always come out to be a yellowish color. You can try to go with a less-yellowish color with the Sylvania's suggested above, but it won't get any better than that.
