Default Help with Mods?

I have a blacked out Lexus IS F. still with OEM wheels. Thinking about blacking out the rims. what do you guys think? And also what do you guys think about painting the calipers whats a nice color? I was thinking Lime Green on a black car with black rims? How's the reliability ? will the paint last long ? (this is being done professionally.)

Some people like the murdered look, while others think it's overdone. But in the end, it's your ride. Just enjoy customizing it. Personally, I wouldn't change the wheels until you paint the calipers. That way you get a sense of what color the wheels should be afterwards. Calipers being lime green certainly is different, but just make sure the process of painting the calipers is done correctly or it'll just be ruined with the heat that's produced down by the brakes and rotors. I can't attest to the paintwork of the calipers over a long period of time, but those who I know who've had it done haven't reported anything bad about them, and they've had it for a good four to five years.

But go with what you want. You're gonna get all sorts of answers about this. In the end, it's your F. Just have fun with it. Best of luck!
