Default NOS or Headers?

Hello All

Was thinking of PPE headers but with the recent NOS post and the gains I'm now thinking that NOS may be the way to go as a bolt on hp gain.

Thoughts?

I may of stepped on the PPE CEL post. .... Sorry.

I'm asking myself the same question lately. I'm definitely leaning towards the N20 route with deleted primary and secondary cats.

Lol I was thinking the same question recently, cant really decide which way to go when time comes. I saw all those treads lately about cells etc, it doesn't mean that having a NOS will not trigger a cell ether.

I think headers will be a bit more practical for daily driving and you won't have to worry about filling the bottle every week...

My "F" is a daily driver so really thinking of binary controls.
Really like Abohler set up, ready to go at anytime at the flip of a switch.

500hp to the wheels with headers/intake/exhaust/100shot of nitrous. All very tempting...

Nos scares me, maybe if I lived in the states and there were good installers I'd be more comfortable.

If your car is a daily, get headers. NOS is kind of like "I don't have anything left to do. I'll add NOS." Proper NOS care is after you spray you should change your oil and with 10 qts that's a lot. It also has a amount of tuning that is needed and puts added stress on internals. If your F is your daily, you wouldn't want the added potential of a mishap. Headers add power without the extra stress and it's more consistent always at the ready power.

NOS is very safe today guys. We have wet systems that are regulated and adjustable.
The issue is the repeated use and the adaption we all get after we make our cars faster.....we want them to go even faster . NOS will void your warranty on the engine in about 2 seconds.......the headers will make you deaf from the droning . Cant win. lol

Headers don't drone, some exhaust systems do. Headers will magnify the drone in an exhaust system that already has drone, but the addition of headers to an exhaust system that doesn't drone will not add drone to that system.

but here is the thing guys

for the NOS

you guys do need to know
when you have a habit of spray here n there trust me you gonna empty your bottle fast
no matter i dont use a lot statement
but every 3 bottle you need to check for your spark plug condition because they go bad real fast
so basically at 3 or at 4 bottle you need to swap your spark plugs
i know denso is a good plugs but
i personally like the NGK laser Ir plugs and our car takes 8 -_- and plus the labor unless u know how to swap um
but hey if u dont like the 400 whp which is pretty fine but for a realy fast few second of feeling from 500whp
go for it...
just dont install nos too hardcore like direct to the engine just a intake pipe is fine
jsut my 2cents
