Default Sunroof Tilt closing

So I never really played with the sunroof at all until today, and I decided to open the tilt, and when closing it, (holding the close button down) it doesn't stop and instead opens back up, instead of staying closed. Am I doing something wrong? does it need to be programmed or anything. I would hold the button just until I think the sunroof is closed and then the tilt goes up again, while I'm holding the close button. Tried the process several times and the same thing occurs. Any suggestions?

It has to get reset, there is a process that if you search you can find it, I cant remember where i found it. However if you turn to the close position and when the roof closes, press the center button quickly, it stops, press it again and its closes completely

Just want to mention that the one touch slide function (open and close) for the sunroof itself works fine, the tilt is causing the issues, and the car is 2012

Holding what close button? If you press the selector, the sunroof fully opens or fully closes. If you press the button to close from tilt, you are doing it wrong. You just turn the selector to the closed position, not press it.

I believe the earliers ISF's have different setup when it comes to sunroof/tilt functions. i have separate buttons for each function unlike the earlier ISF's which had the dial to open and close the sunroof.

mine does that too. I have to tap it and gradually close it most of the time. I just figured my sound system shook something loose so i just deal with it.
