M235i vs IS-F

The result will probably be similar. I read an article with the RCF creator and he said he isn't benchmarking the RCF against anyone. He wanted to build the car how he wanted - luxury, performance, and reliability. Interestingly enough, the head of BMW was also in the same article with the same arrogance that seems to come around with most BMW snobs. In the end, not everyone is going to like BMW or Lexus, or Audi for that matter. Drive what makes you happy!

I used to own an M3(e46) and my bro has the ISF. The ISF is faster than e46 m3 but the m3 is more confidence in cornered and turned and it's more fun to drive than ISF. The ISF sounds better tho. Each car has its strong and weakness and every one 's taste is difference. Btw, i am saving up for the new M3/M4.

They should have tested the M235 vs current V8 M3 since current M3 and IS-F are nearly identical in straight line performance and the M3 guys could have then seen that their car would have been beat also

True, but that sounds a bit too fair and objective for Bimmer phanboyz

BMW is the absolute crappiest car I have ever owned. Lemon lawed my 535i and bought my ISF. I don't care what trickery they use to beat an ISF (which I think is faked, btw) I would not be caught dead in one of those shiza boxes ever again. BMW should chenge their logo to

Its about time
Well i am not sure about oem vs oem cos i never and will have a oem cars
Whenever i buy a car i tune or mod the car asap
Indeed 235i m is fast car but it dose not make isf r slow car
Here is the example
There r two member from my crew that owned moded bmw
One is 335i n very lil almost stock 2011 m5
Focus on 335 n version engine he did most of the tunes jb software n pipe here n there ( dp no cat blah blah )
And my car is modest moded isf also 3 cars on highway i was on 4th gear around 55-60 ? We go
I jumped and lead and lead n lead going n going
I can tell same mod from 335i to the new 235i hmmm will be faster due to the less weight but as bmwers saying so fast eat out the v8? Not really
N 235 bmw is a really good car but it aint a road wooper car

I had a 2010 135i that I traded in on my ISF. It had the N54 motor with the BMW performance improvement kit which put it at the same power level as the 235i plus I had a JB+ tuner that added like 4 pounds of boost on top of that. It was pretty quick but I wouldn't say it was much faster, if any than my ISF. Maybe at altitude it may beat our car but that doesn't bother me. I enjoy my ISF more in every way over my 135i.
