I cant imagine the F as a garage queen. its just too good to be put away. Unless you live in the northeast and need more winter traction

Noob here! I just got my first Lexus for the particular reason that I wanted to use it as a Daily Driver. I retired my e46 M3 from the daily grind...and man I wish i did it sooner! My weekend car is a fast Mustang Cobra

I bought mine to daily drive it. I was splitting time between a Porsche 911 and an Infiniti g35. Quite frankly wasn't driving 911 enough, and wanted something with ***** but still refined. That's how I ended up daily driving the F, and I love it. No regrets going back to one very versatile car.

If you drive a few miles away from home, the ISF is boring because it takes a long time for it to warm up to an operating temperature where you can really drive it.

I drive about 7 miles to work and when I get there, it sometimes only barely reaches 2 bars.

It'll become my DD any day now as I plan to sell the IS350 within a week.. Sucks that I'll have to start driving it during foul weather, but when I hear the V8 fire up, I'll get over it

Wow! Awesome replies...and lobuxracer 156K miles...dude RESPECT!

Look I agree that the ISF is a great daily driver...part luxury / part race car...but I want to have fun doing mods to mine (not always sending it to someone to do because I can't be without a driver) and want my ISF to be around for a looooooooong time as I am huge fan...

Also my daily commute is 60 miles and the miles would add up quick...so I am going to lease a 2014 IS250 (better gas mileage) and start doing a "build" on Matador (what I call my ISF). I know I will miss all my "kills" during my daily drive but I plan to enjoy the "build" and the weekends will be a friggin BLAST!

My drive to work is about 18 miles roundtrip... But I don't drive it everyday because I want to keep the mikes low and I purchased it only to have as a weekend toy.

I will admit that I would like to drive it everyday to work but I am not yet ready to sell my dd.

daily driver 7 days a week. ps2's in the summer and blizzaks for winter.

Daily driver for me. 60 miles in rain or shine, actually it's been more freaking snow and ice than anything the last 4 months.
Car is a champ, goes through the snow with ease and fires up with no problem on coldest days.
Fantastic car!

Another DD here and can I just say that I love that the majority of owners are also driving them, if not daily, the majority of the time As so many of you have stated, that's what I bought it for!!! That being said, not hating on those that choose to admire/enjoy theirs parked or "shelf'd" in their garage or driveway. While its not for me when it comes to this car I certainly understand that side of ownership and at the end of the day that's one thing we all have in common - proud owners!!!

I've had mines for a month now, daily driven. It will replace my S2000 which I will put up for sale soon- mainly because I just needed more space and seating room lately.

Not my DD, even though I know it could be. If it was, I know I'd get bored of it since it's auto, and I love rowing through gears. That's what i have my Integra for. With that said the F is a blast drive and isn't solely a weekend car, and is far from a garage queen. I'll take it out a few days a week, but never in the rain or snow. It just isn't fun to drive when there's precipitation.

If I was in Cali or other areas where it never snows, I'd love to DD an s2k and still have the F. But it's just not practical to have 2 RWD cars in the Northeast.
