From what I know JoeZ doesn't make them anymore, Just get the tips powder coated much less hassle.

That's understandable, but I would think the finish would be at least as durable as the real CF tips. I hear heat tolerance claims of 300-350 deg. F. How hot do our tips get?

As far as I know, you'd be the first F owner to get this done. I seriously considered doing this before I ended up powdercoating hence my interest. The only reason I didn't is because I thought it might be "too much" carbon fiber.
