Getting crazy wind buffeting with the sunroof open. Sunroof wind visor advice needed
Hey guys I just picked my 2010 ISF today. I am super excited and have got everything working well and just want to know what I need to do to fix this issue with the sunroof buffeting. Its so bad between 65-75 mph that the rear view mirror vibrates and tilts itself downward. Need to get a visor since the noise and buffeting go away as soon as I put my had outside the roof.
Does Lexus make an oem accessory part to fix this. I just dont want some cheap crap on my car. I have a shaven head and I love my sunroof open ( I live in AZ ). Please HELP !!!

First of all congrats on the purchase!
There is actually a service bulletin out that will correct this issue for you under warranty. Just bring your F to the dealership and mention the bulletin L-SB-0072-09, or just ask about a fix for the rear view mirror vibrations and hopefully he will understand.
I have a 2009 and had the same problem. They replaced the rear view mirror assembly with the newer style which is much sturdier. Not exactly sure if it's the same fix for your 2010.
Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Thanks for the help guys. I purchased access to a site that has all of the bulletins and there is a TSB that allows the techs to swap some rubber parts on the existing design that allows the turbulence to reduce. I am hoping they can fix this because I cruise almost always with my windows down during this time of the year in AZ. Taking her in for a clear bra soon so I will mention it to the SA. I appreciate you guys supplying the TSIB number and info. Seems like this is a common issue with the ISF
