Default In the market for a used IS-F.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a used IS-F. I've been doing some research and decided to pick this car over the M3 or C63. My question is which year of IS-F should I considering? From what I know is the '11 had some major revision to it. Am I right? Are there any other important things that I need to know before I purchase this car? Please feel free to add your feedbacks or opinions.
Thanks

11 onwards had mechanical dif and softer suspension so most plumb for those but I have no issues with my 08.

Take them both out and see what you think.

No 'standard' issues with uk models but USA models seem to pull to the right so make sure work has been done to rectify that.

So for the US market. Beside those revised suspensions for the '11+. Everything else stays the same?

2010 and up get the nav upgrade which is nice, much faster. Also get the mechanical LSD, which I guess is great if your a serious road racer, can't say I ever noticed it. (didn't) track the car.

The 2011 and up get the LED lights and revised suspension, I believe the 2012 and 2013 also had suspension revisions again.

If it were me again, I would look for a 2011.

Thanks for the info. One last question. Since the IS-F came out. Did they come with any Limited or Special Edition for this car at all? I'm talking about the US market only.

Doing a quick Autotrader search for 2011 or better, I find these reasonable deals near you. I recommend 2011 or later, Lexus made many significant handling changes in 2011 which continue through the current model. They perfected the design in 2011, you may as well shoot for that.

Thanks for the links. I'm selling my 350z now. Hopefully I'll get this car soon.

Before ruling anything out, make sure you test drive the competitors as well. Don't rule it out based on data. Now if you already did test drive an E90 and C63, than I understand.

I have a 2013 ISF, the only complaints are you can hear the Direct fuel injection sometimes, and the transmission has a mind of its own in some situations. The voice recognition can also be annoying sometimes with un-usual names. In my case, I can't get it to dial 5-1-1 when I'm stuck in traffic to get traffic data and it's annoying.

Otherwise very solid car. Handles very well, solid V8 power, comfortable.

Thanks for the advise. I got a chance to drove the C63 and pushed it hard. Love the engine and the sound. I also got a chance to drove the E92 but didn't push it hard. Imma use this car mostly for daily, and I afraid the Bimmer or Benz don't have the reliability like Lexus does.
