Fresh ink - my F Tatt (pics)
Ok, there is a little more to this story then JUST the F logo.
First of all, this is the best car i have ever owned. I will probably never let it go. Even if i did, i would NOT regret what you are about to see.
The story starts out way before i got my car. A few years back, my dream car was a CTS-V. Not a CTS v6, but a straight up V . I told myself that if i ever was able to pay such an expensive car off, i would get a sick *** V logo tatted on me as a way to say I DID IT and also, its a badass ride. Anyhow, i was only dreaming of a car like that but eventiually, I paid my Tahoe off and then worked my *** off, saved enough money for a very nice down payment on one. I knew i could afford it. But would they sell it to me was the question. *The answer is no. I got turned down. I had ok credit, but there was one little thing on it that was a deal breaker. It was easily fixed, but at that moment, it was enough to send me and my down payment home with my tail between my legs. So i decided to go look for other cars. Stopped by and looked at some newerish/used BMW's. I just wasn't feeling them. Stopped by Lexus of Sac to see what all they had and within a few hours, was driving my beloved '09 IS-250. They approved me! Within a few days, i realized i should have gotten at least the IS350. I was kinda sad but i still loved the **** out of the 250. Great car! 6 months later, someone rear ended my 250 and totaled it. The dust wasn't even clear and i already had the upgrade (is350) planned.
To make a long story shorter, since my credit was fixed, my score went back up and i actually qualified for the IS-F! (Brand new '11 (at the time)) So off i was. This is a HELL of a commitment. I am NOT rich by any means. So this is definitely a scary payment and i told myself if i made it all the way through and payed it off, i would get an F tattoo . 2 Years, 11 months and 3 days of a 6 year loan, and i paid it off (last month). I tossed the hint out to my artist and friend Bill Liberty (Bill Liberty Tattoo) on Facebook, but i know he is booked until July. Lucky for me, someone just cancelled, they offered me the chair...... and IN like Flinn i was.
So the following pictures are as much about me living up to a BIG commitment in my life as they are about my favorite car EVER.

That's a solid commitment and a great story. Only a select few will understand the true impact of the F on our lives. Those that really get it know how much the brand and Lexus' forging of a performance heritage represents itself.

thanks, glad you guys can understand me a little bit....i know the tatt part is hard for some but i am already inked up so it's no shock
Another thing about this car, it was inside the Palms Casino for CES 2013 (last year), got millions of views on youtube, millions of views on the entire build, and finally a huge spread in a major magazine. The car is special to me. I will never sell it unless my family is hungry or homeless. Hopefully never

Plus i forgot to mention, i am probably one of the few, if any regular old "civilians" to ever get to test drive the LFA on a special invite from Lexus HQ. I heard it is hard to get near it unless you are buying one. A few years back, they gave me the keys "for 30 minutes" but i actually had it for over 2 hours. One of the funnest days of my life. So the F is even more meaningful to me
