Default Moving on…it's been a blast

Well due to changing conditions with my job (will probably be losing it come September and will likely be taking a pay cut with whatever else I find) I decided to sell the F and downgrade to only one vehicle that I can drive all the time and not have to worry about it. Traded my F in on a brand new 14 Wrangler (totally different direction but felt like I needed a change and wanted something that would still be fun). F was by far the best car I ever owned and hopefully in a few years once I pay the Jeep off I will pick up a used RC-F and have the Jeep as a second car.

I'll be stopping by every now and then anyways to see what's up with everyone and will definitely be hanging out in the RC-F forums.

Was great to meet those of you that I did, here's to running into each other once again down the road

Cheers mates

Ryan

I feel you, I purchased my 2012 IS F on cash, back in August of 2013 and lost my job a week later... I am still unemployed and haven't had much luck yet!

Good Luck to you

Sorry to hear dude. Keep your head up. Things happen for a reason.... In the end of the day, it's just a car. You can always get another later....

We'll miss you mate, 2013 ISF mega meet... good memories. I think if i were to downgrade it'd be a 370Z NISMO. I figured you'd get something a little more sporty.....regardless let us know how the Jeep is.

This is disappointing to hear, especially from another local F member. Best of luck and hopefully things take an upward turn in the future.

Thanks everyone! It's not the end of the world for sure. I (hopefully) will just be going from a contractor to government position so I will take a pay cut for a while, but will eventually get back up there and with some job stability to boot.

VJ the 370 is a pretty fun car my friend just bought one, I PROBABLY could have just kept the F and used it everyday but I would hate to see it go to crap with the way the roads and drivers are around here. I also was able to save about 350 a month between insurance and car payment so that helps a little. I thought about getting something a little sportier and used but honestly I kinda needed a change and the Wrangler will make a great second car once I get it paid off, not to mention its brand new so I won't have to worry about anything for a while. It is totally different but I'm loving it so far, had an absolute blast in the snow we had here a few weeks ago. Took a bit to get used to the downgrade in the interior but the new ones aren't half bad. Can't wait for it to warm up a bit to take the doors and top off and hit the trails.

I'm sure I'll be back in a Lexus again down the road a bit, I really love the way the RC-F looks so hopefully I'll be able to pick up a used one in 3-4 years for about the same price I got the F for.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone, you guys have been awesome and like I said I'll still be popping in. Hopefully whoever ends up buying my car finds this place as well.

Thought this was ironic, it says Jeep in the picture and then there's the RCF.....it's a sign, LOL
