I used to have subwoofers in my old car and every time it went to get service it would **** me off that those idiots would be blasting my stereo. Now that I have the Lexus I figured that this kind of thing would be not a problem. I hope you get some serious response from the management and not some kind of excuse.

That's terrible behavior, I would not accept that from any dealership much less Lexus which prides itself on customer service. You should send this video up to senior management with the tagline "Is this what you call THE PURSUIT OF PERFECTION?"
I've always kept my dashcam on when sending my car in for servicing. I'm happy to say that the guys at Lexus of Brisbane have always been anything but professional when handling my car.
Maybe because my dashcam is pretty visible so they know they are being recorded....hmm. I've also found out where they keep their ISF race cars hidden :-) http://lexusenthusiast.com/2012/12/2...s-f-race-cars/

I didn't watch the videos yet but what was the car in for? I'm an auto mechanic and I have worked at a dealership before, not a Lexus dealer but regardless. When I went there there was no training or code of conduct whatsoever, the manager took me into the shop and gave me a couple bays to work in, that was it. I was surprised because everyone acts like a dealer is so much better than a smaller shop but really, anyone can work at a dealership, probably the worst tech I ever met was at that dealership, lol.

Lexus Test Driver
LOL. That's just part of the "road test" process on any high performance car after a repair is completed Any good attorney would be able to convince a jury of his "peers".
Seriously, sorry that happened to you and I hope you get maintenance for life from the dealership.

I had the car in for the 2 recalls (windshield wiper and trunk release). Hardly anything that would require them road testing my car. The trip to QT was to top off the tank - although I brought it in with nearly a full tank. From how long it sat at QT I'd say the porter was also picking up snacks. All around a mess if you ask me.

They fill the tank when doing recalls? Really though, how dumb must that guy be? I'm sure basically every car nowadays has a fuel economy counter, and if you went in getting 20mpg and left getting 5mpg-something would surely be questioned, no? I know I was accused of beating a car for that exact reason, when in fact it was brought to me by another shop-who bragged about how fast it was to me, lol.
