Default Borla Cat Back

I would like to say thank you to all the members postings about exhaust options and opinions. I initially was set on the Joe Z but living in Hawaii shipping was the biggest issue. I ended up going with the a Borla since Amazon Prime is unbeatable and the exhaust was $962 shipped with a $60 gift card I received from buying my daughter a Recaro ProRide. I just installed the exhaust in my garage yesterday, and man am I happy with this purchase! I agree with those who posted on the lack of visual appeal, but I personally only see this fault on the muffler tips. This system is not quiet as some mentioned, but not too loud that my wife and baby want to jump out and ride in he ol trusty Sienna. The money I saved should cover majority of the sikky headers on my to-do-list. Their is no doubt that the Joe Z is visually appealing over the Borla, but the HP and TQ gains seem to be on point, and my options are further liked being in the islands. Again, thank you all for posting ideas for everyone.

When I spoke to lexus parts (joe z) in OC, shipping was going to be north of $300. They were very helpful and educated on the exhaust and our car! Iss sent me an email that they are doing a 30 production run at $3100 plus shipping. Again, shipping north of $500.

Respectfully disagree.....I had borla catback.
It ended up not working out for me. And yes
I did all the research, heard all the sound clips.
Too loud for me, too drony

The exhaust is louder, but it varies. Given time, there are instances where it's as silent as stock (from inside the vehicle). Other times, you can definitely tell there is something going on, but it's largely controlled by your right foot.

I'd also have to stamp it "wife-approved". No complaints from her, at all.

Its sounds good not too drony. Recently valet said car sounds like a muscle car which is what it should sound like in my opinion.

Everyone will have their own opinions.

The Borla axle-back is terrible and very droney. But the cat-back is much better and sounds great.

You guys are correct on personal opinion and what is loud to some may be quiet for others. I am very happy with this purchase. I just wanted to express my thanks for all the exhaust posts that help me pull the trigger

Be aware that with headers the car is pretty loud. If you decide to pull the trigger do yourself a favor and consider PPE as well. Glad you like the exhaust! I picked borla and ppe and couldn't be happier
